Beginnerscursus 3 Dagen Level 1: introduction Connective tissue and fascia

Gevorderde cursus 3 Dagen Level 2: Advanced Connective tissue and fascia (students may not do advanced course without completing the beginners course)

De Kosten bedragen €595- per level, inclusief print outs, cursus, koffie en thee break en lunch.

Level 1:   The course run over three days where we introduce Connective tissue and fascia, both in theory regarding the newest developments in fascia research, and practical work on how to evaluate and treat the fascial system manually. We also discuss the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder joint and then the surgery and reconstructions for the treatment of breast cancer and other post surgery limitations due to fascia damage. We concentrate on the post mastectomy pain and dysfunction syndromes more than the Lymphoedema only. The third day is with live patients on how to apply the techniques. The course is presented by Willie Fourie who provides course worldwide on Connective tissue and fascia.

The advanced course

Level 2:  The course is over three days where we go further in-depth about Connective tissue and fascia, problematic cases, both in theory and practical to treat the fascial system manually and evaluate changes after treatment. We will cover all the surgical procedures for breast cancer in more detail as well as potential dysfunctions on day one. Day two we will move into the neck and mouth for oral and neck cancers. On day three the hip and knee relationships more from an orthopedic perspective. On the theory side we will look at the main fascial approaches prevalent in the world today - the work from Italy (Fascial manipulation), Anatomy trains from Tom Myers and some neurodynamics in soft tissue mobilisations.
